Horizon XT 12ft 3-5oz Carp Rod   Designed to be purely a distance tool the Horizon XT has not been designated a test curve but both the 12 and 13ft models have been designed to cast 3 to 5oz leads to 150m and beyond. Utilising the finest quality low resin carbon with a 1K wrap the XT is a slim, attractive, stiff blank with an incredibly crisp and responsive backbone and a fast tip speed with a brilliantly quick recovery that eliminates the bounce-back which can steal metres from your cast. Despite the stiffness and the tip speed the rods remain surprisingly responsive under the tip for controlling those last minute lunges of big fish without popping the hook. Described by Product Development Team’s Scott Day as “A man’s rod” the 13ft version is particularly special and in the right hands will put a lead over 180m (200yds).
